and Leukemia

I was diagnosed with CML Leukemia on May 5th of 2022. On April 19th of 2023 it went blast crisis and I was admitted to the hospital. I will need a bone marrow transplant to survive following this hospitalization for receiving infused chemotherapy.

Brian’s Float Journey

In the freedom from gravity of my first float I experienced a few pain free moments for the first time in nearly four decades.

Love the Float is a passion project; a way for me to help spread the love for this amazing but still little known resource.

Float A Day May

In May of 2019 I floated every single day to celebrate the launch of the lovethefloat.com website. My experiences were life altering. I documented the journey every step of the way, relive the magical month with me.

This was quite simply the most spectacular week of floating I’ve ever had, or could imagine having. I didn’t come into Float A Day May with expectations, but if I had they would have been exceeded by the past few days.

In the float tank, I found my ultimate sanctuary. A place not only to recharge, but to explore my own mind free from distraction.

The people behind the float have compelling stories as well. Hear from float center owners, tank manufacturers, and researchers. Learn how floating inspired them to make floating their livelihood and how they allow us to Love the Float.

Love the Float & COVID-19

We are living in a very different world during COVID-19. I’m trying to find my way through this pandemic without floating just as we all are. I hope that sharing #momentsinnature and #floatcenterlove will make the path a bit smoother for us all.
